Get up and running with this introductory workshop that will get you going with the latest in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software. If you’re looking to do more with your projects in less time, don’t miss our hands-on Revit Architecture Workshop with Autodesk Certified Implementation Experts from Digital Drafting Systems.
This 1 ½ day workshop is designed to familiarize you with the Building Information Modeling features of the software such as:
- User interface
- Managing views
- Parametric modeling
- Automated Scheduling
- and others...
You will be working hands-on a project – enabling you to understand the basic concepts behind the software. The workshop is geared towards the new user and requires no proficiency in the software. AIA Miami Chapter Annual Golf Tournament
JUNE 6th – The Sixteenth Annual AIA Golf Tournament will be held at the Miccosukee Golf and Country Club, 6401 Kendale Lakes Drive, Miami. Clean your golf attire. NATIONAL TV SHOW ON HGTV SEEKS BIG REMODELING PROJECTS TO FEATURE
HGTV and the new national TV show “My Big Amazing Renovation” are looking for a BIG and AMAZING remodeling project in Miami to feature! Homes being considered for the show need to have that “wow” factor – in addition, they need to have doubled in size, have outgoing homeowners, contain a major kitchen remodel, have a complete exterior transformation, and stand apart from the pack. Projects to be considered must be before drywall and completed by late Fall/early Winter 2008. AIM - Architects In Making 2008 Summer Camp
Last year 57 kids benefited from the program and we would like to make an even better program this year but we need your support. We provide scales, rulers, pencils, drawing pads, sketch paper and cameras. We are planning two or three field trips. All this requires funds and your help would ensure the program is a success. If you can volunteer one day or half a day, it would be a great and a rewarding experience.
